Sport

Pupils enthusiastically participate in daily physical education and games activities, with weekly matches, across a range of sports, recognising the benefits of regular exercise......
Pupils achieve highly in a range of sporting competitions.-  ISI Report 2022

Sporting activity provides healthy exercise, helps to develop physical fitness at an early stage and promotes competitive spirit, cooperation and team playing.

Our sports curriculum ensures from Year 3 all boys at Aldwickbury participate in organised games each afternoon. Boys in the Pre-Prep have PE and games sessions organised in their class timetables.

The boys have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of sporting activities - principally football, hockey, rugby, cross-country, swimming, athletics, cricket and tennis.

Boys are encouraged to represent Aldwickbury in competition, and fixtures for all teams are regularly organised with other schools. This gives every boy the opportunity to play for the School, not just those playing for the first team of the year group.
