At Aldwickbury, it is important to us that pupils engage with technology with confidence and safety. We recognise the crucial role of technology whilst also prioritising the importance of teaching pupils to use it safely and in a balanced way. Technology will not be used when pen and paper, or face-to-face discussions are better.

Using IT to Enrich Other Subjects
At Aldwickbury, technology is embedded across a blended curriculum to enhance learning and bring subjects to life. iPads support creative exploration in subjects such as art and PE, while geography and history lessons make use of the ICT suites for research and interactive learning. In DT, pupils develop computer-aided design (CAD) and printing skills, helping them understand how digital tools support modern design processes. Integrating IT across subjects opens new ways for pupils to engage, learn and develop fresh perspectives.
