Small class sizes, with a maximum of 16 in Reception to Year 2 and 18 in Years 3 to 8, allow us to offer differentiated teaching that challenges each pupil appropriately and supports them in achieving academic success.

Our Future Thinking Curriculum
Aldwickbury’s award-winning Future Thinking Curriculum is designed to equip pupils with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in an ever-changing and complex world.
Blending a broad range of academic subjects with creative arts, design technology, computing and physical education, the school curriculum also integrates contemporary learning experiences such as robotics, programming, mental health training and outdoor learning.
As pupils move through the school, they benefit from specialist teaching that nurtures curiosity, imagination and resilience, alongside developing their critical thinking, collaboration, communication and leadership skills.

Extra-Curricular Activities
Our boarding school heritage allows for an extended school day that blends a strong academic curriculum with a rich and varied programme of extra-curricular activities.
With over 60 clubs running each week, there is something for every pupil to discover and enjoy, from chess, robotics and LAMDA to climbing, fencing and triathlon. Opportunities are seamlessly woven into the school day, with clubs available before school, during break times and after-school.
Music, drama and sport play a central role in school life, encouraging creativity, confidence, perseverance and teamwork. From choirs, instrumental ensembles and drama productions, pupils are given space to express themselves and grow in self-assurance.
Our sporting programme, supported by specialist coaching and regular fixtures, enables pupils to compete at the highest levels, fostering resilience and pride as they represent Aldwickbury in county, regional and national competitions.
