It was a great weekend for sport with successes at both the IAPS National Fencing Championships and IAPS National Prep Schools Triathlon Championships last week.

It was an excellent day at Millfield School for the fencing championships where both Bobby M (U13) and Nandor E (U11) took home gold, making it 6 years in a row for Aldwickbury. All of the boys were outstanding throughout the day, a testament to the hard work of our fencing coaches Paul and Maria from Paul Davis Fencing Academy. The boys were delighted to be cheered on by Mr Holbrook, Mr Schanschieff and Mr Symes.

It was another fantastic event at Monkton Combe School for the triathlon championships. Every boy representing the school gave their very all, leaving nothing out there. The school were very proud of all the boys taking part. Both James H (U13) and Daniel C (U11) took home silver and Ollie BW took home Bronze. With numerous boys finishing in the top 10 and around 80 boys attending our Friday morning club, the future looks bright for Triathlon at Aldwickbury!
