Prize Giving 2024

,

At the start of July, we joyfully concluded the Aldwickbury School year with our annual Prize Giving ceremony.

It was a fantastic morning with beautiful performances from our choirs, a poignant poetry recital with an anti-bullying message from our Year 5 boys and an entertaining Vote of Thanks delivered by Evan R and Jude J on behalf of our Year 8 boys. We were also delighted to welcome award-winning global adventurer, fundraiser, author and inspirational speaker Ben Smith.

Ben’s incredible story of triumph over adversity, highlighted by his awe-inspiring challenge to run a marathon a day for 401 consecutive days, captivated our boys. His powerful message about the limitless potential of courage and determination resonated perfectly with our Aldwickbury Values.

We also had the great pleasure of welcoming back Rosemary Castle, daughter of Aldwickbury’s founding Headmaster, Kenneth Castle, to present the prestigious Headmaster’s Cup to James H.

Former Aldwickbury boy James McCann also returned to present the McCann Cup for Kindness to Robert H.

It was a delight to celebrate the achievements of the past year. Congratulations to all our boys for their outstanding efforts, and a heartfelt thank you to all the parents for their unwavering support.
