To celebrate this year’s National Poetry Day boys in Years 6 to 8 took part in a Poetry Slam!
The boys worked incredibly hard to write some fabulous poetry in their English lessons. Two boys were then nominated from each class to compete in the Poetry Slam Competition. The performances and poems were great and the boys had fun judging the most successful poem by measuring the volume of applause using a decibel meter.
