We’re delighted to announce that James Gilyead, our ICT and Sports Teacher, has recently been appointed as our Aldwickbury Old Boys Association (AOBA) Co-ordinator.
As AOBA Co-ordinator Mr Gilyead will be responsible for retaining and strengthening the relationships of former pupils with the school. As Aldwickbury approaches its 75th Anniversary we are keen to develop and re-establish connections with all our Alumni to ensure they are involved in our Anniversary celebrations and to establish a strong AOBA Community going forward.
Commenting on the appointment, Headmaster Mr Symes said, “As a member of our academic staff for almost 30 years coupled with his family’s long-standing history with the school, Mr Gilyead is the ideal person to fulfil this new position. His knowledge of the school and its history is second to none. We’re delighted he has agreed to take on the role and we look forward to establishing strong connections with our alumni going forward.”
