This week we hosted a ‘Keen Writer’s Day’ workshop for the boys and children from five local schools in Harpenden. These schools included; Harpenden Academy, The Grove Junior School, Beech Hyde Primary School and Wood End Primary School.
The ‘Keen Writer’s Day’ workshop gave the boys and the children a chance to take part in lots of activities that are designed to ignite their passion for writing. We ran activities looking at characters; how to write a poem by using an existing poem as the foundation and then a historical tour of Japanese poetry.
There was plenty of fantastic writing. Click here to read some of the work.
