Juniors (Ages 7-9)
Holistic education that fosters academic success.

Life in the Junior Department
Pupils move from Pre-Prep into the Junior Department in Year 3. During Years 3 and 4, pupils continue their educational journey in small classes (maximum of 18), each led by a dedicated and passionate teacher.
This teacher oversees their pastoral care, academic development and delivers many of their lessons. Pupils also benefit from specialist teachers in a number of subjects including music, drama, sports, design technology, art, French and future thinking.
Aldwickbury School is located in the heart of Harpenden, and only a short drive from surrounding Hertfordshire towns including St Albans, Welwyn, Redbourn and Wheathampstead.

Learning Spaces
Whilst our Junior classrooms are all within a self-contained building, pupils also move around the school for some specialist subject lessons. This enables pupils to benefit from all the Aldwickbury School facilities such as the ICT suite, music rooms, Chidell Hall, main school library, art studio and the design technology workshop.
