In light of the most recent COVID-19 announcement, much planning and organisation has gone into the return to remote learning for the Aldwickbury boys and teachers. Routines will continue to be reviewed as and when the government advice changes. Please check this page for the latest news and updates regarding our approach to COVID-19 at Aldwickbury School.
The teachers have been working very hard to ensure that the boys will be fully occupied and their education will continue. This term we have adapted the remote provision from last summer, with the addition that:
- We are following the normal timetable for the boys in most year groups.
- We are delivering the full curriculum with more ‘live’ teaching, using zoom, along with pre-recorded lessons and activities posted on Showbie and See-Saw.
- We are providing a full programme to the boys including all academic subjects, sport, music and drama, along with assemblies and one-to-one music and drama lessons.
- Pastoral care will be at the heart of the Aldwickbury Education, with plenty of tutor time, providing opportunities for the boys to keep in touch with their teachers and their friends.
Thank you to the boys, teachers and parents for their continued hard work and support throughout these unprecedented times. For more information or if you have any further questions, please contact us by calling 01582 713022 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
