Our Move to Co-Education
In 2024, Aldwickbury School announced its exciting move to co-education. In September 2025, we welcomed our first girls into the Pre-Prep (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2), marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the school.
We are proud to be offering girls the same exceptional level of education and opportunities that Aldwickbury boys have enjoyed for generations.
From September 2026, girls will be able to join Year 3 as well as the Pre-Prep. Each year, our co-educational offering will grow, with the school becoming fully co-educational by September 2031.

In recent years, we have demonstrated our commitment to preparing pupils for an ever-changing world. There is now a societal preference for co-educational environments by an increasing number of families, many within our own community, as indicated in our recent parent survey. Equally parents want their children to achieve academic success in an environment via a balanced curriculum that focuses on producing well rounded – good people, as well as building excellent academic foundations
We take great pride in Aldwickbury being awarded ‘Independent Boys’ School of the Year’ in 2024/25. In this next chapter, our aim is to become the best co-educational prep school in the UK, providing both boys and girls with a holistic education that fosters academic success within our beautiful setting.
