It was lovely to see so many of you at the Bazaar on Saturday. The transformation of the Pre-Prep Hall was amazing; I know that a lot of time and hard work went into setting up all the various activities and stalls. For me, Santa’s Grotto was particularly exciting and I loved seeing all the teddies and soft toys displayed on the stage.
This week, the Reception boys have been on a bear hunt, re-enacting the well-known story with great enthusiasm! Year 1 have been making Diva candles and writing stories whilst Year 2 have been looking at toys past and present and making comparisons. They have also been learning about non-fiction texts and will be creating their own information booklets next week.
And so we move towards the end of November. It really is true that time flies when you are having fun. Christmas songs are starting to be learned and rehearsals are under way for our end of term productions. Reception will be singing ‘Carols around the Christmas Tree’ ,Year 1’s performance of ‘The Bossy Christmas Elf’ and ‘A Victorian Christmas’, presented by Year 2.
