The school supports a wide range of charities through various activities.
We ensure that the boys are involved so that they learn about the organisations to which they are giving. The regular events are as follows:
Chapel services
The collections go to a range of Christian charities both at home and abroad.
Jeans for Genes Day
The school supports this event every year by wearing mufti (the boys' casual clothes) and supporting a cake stall.
School Bazaar
This event is held every November and the money is given to two charities selected by the pupils.
We also become involved in other events: for example, in the Easter term 2007 we raised money for an organisation called Orphans Know More. This was recommended by the boarders and we raised enough money to buy over 160 chickens for families in Africa.
