Skiing Success

The Aldwickbury skiers were able to delight their supporters with some outstanding performances in at the English Schools' National Finals held at Rossendale on Saturday. Amidst a wonderful atmosphere of impressive competitive skiing our U14 team took first place with the Under 12s securing the third place. What a tremendous effort from our boys and Mr G. It makes the hours of training on the mountains of Hemel Hempstead worthwhile. Well done.

 

Last year approximately 100 boys from Year 3 to 8 skied with the Aldwickbury Ski Club. From the beginners to the skilled sportsmen that win national competitions all benefitted from the fabulous opportunity this activity gives them. Who needs the Alps?!
