London Area Prep School Athletics, Eton

A large team of boys went to this regional qualifying event for the National Prep Schools’ Championships, held in Birmingham in July.  The standard is always high and our boys performed admirably; many of the boys’ times, distances and heights achieved represent Personal Bests, and that is the most one can ask for.

Pride of place for the day goes to Harry H who won the U14 Discus, well done.  Three other particularly noteworthy performances came from: Laurie K, 2^nd U 14 Triple Jump; Jacob L, 2^nd U 13 High Jump and the U 14 Boys’ Relay, 7^th in the final.

 Well done to all of the boys. Mr Marshall and I hope that it has given them a taste for athletics and that they will all train even harder to be even better next year!
