Jeremy Strong visits Aldwickbury

Aldwickbury School was delighted to play host to Jeremy Strong, the much loved children’s author, on Friday 26th February. He spent time with the boys in the Pre-Prep. and Junior Departments respectively. He kept them entertained with a mix of story-telling from his children’s novels, telling them about the writing process and how he got ideas for his books – mostly they seem come from embellishing moments of family history and things he sees. He was also good enough to sign books, both new and old, for the boys and answered many of the questions put to him. It was a hugely entertaining day and he left having injected the boys with some of his passion for writing. We all look forward to seeing their skills blossom as a result
