From the Junior Department

Tuesday 23rd November 2010

In PHSE next week, in support of the Movember event, the whole Junior department will be
talking about some health issues which affect boys o f this age. As well as discussing why we
must wash hands before eating, we will also be looking at the importance of getting enough
sleep. Sleep, as you know, is a vital need, essential to a child’s health and growth. If you
would like to take advantage of this introduction to the topic to explore the issue further with
your children, take a look at the website www.sleepforkids.org, which tackles the importance of
sleep in a child-friendly way.
