Fingers on the Buzzer

The Satips quiz this year was, as always, a fiendishly difficult paper designed to challenge even the most prodigious schoolboy quizzer. In the senior paper Jacob was our highest scorer followed by Nico. The junior paper resulted in one remarkable result for Aldwickbury: Ben’s 78% was the 7th highest in the country! Joe P, Felix H, Felix B, and Aidan H also deserve commendation for their efforts and Aldwickbury’s junior team finished well into the top 20% in the country. A superb effort!

A senior team travelled to Magdalen College Oxford to mix it with the best last Tuesday. We played against Magdalen themselves and against New College Oxford. Magdalen got their revenge for their defeat to Aldwickbury last year, and we also lost in an exciting encounter to New College. The boys all performed well and both games were high scoring.
