Climbing Everest

On 17th May 2010, Bonita Norris became the youngest British female to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Despite being a climbing novice, she embarked on the long adventure, braving extreme altitude, freezing temperatures and frostbite to reach the 8,848 metre peak.

 

And guess what! She is coming to Aldwickbury as part of our Years 7 & 8 enrichment programme. She will talk to boys and their parents about her experiences. Details of how to book your place will follow in the New Year but parents please put the date in your diary now: 6:30pm on Tuesday 18^th January in the Pre-Prep hall.
