Cricket Wed 7th July - 2nd X1 & 4th X1

Please note that the 2nd X1 away cricket match today v The Beacon will be played at Shardeloes Amersham Cricket Club and the 4th X1 match will be played at Chesham Bois Cricket Club.   All starting times remain as 2.30pm.

Year 4 Cricket Match v The Beacon: Tuesday 15 June

Please note, next Tuesday's Year 4 cricket match against The Beacon School will now be an away match starting at 2pm with an estimated time of return to Aldwickbury at 5pm.

As this match is now away, there will be no Year 4 tennis club.

We are thrilled to be through to the quarter finals of the J.E.T. cricket competition for Prep Schools following a splendid performance against Beeston School. The match against Cheam will be on Tuesday 15 June at 3pm at Aldwickbury. Parents are very welcome to attend.

Friday 28 May Mufti Day and Air Ambulance

Tuesday 25th May 2010

Due to unforeseen circumstances our mufti day and the air ambulance visit scheduled for Friday 28 May is cancelled.  We are disappointed that we have had to make this change at such short notice but we have just been informed this morning that the air ambulance will be unable to visit us. 

Friday morning will now run to the normal timetable and boys should come to school in their school uniform.

A Successful Week in the Sports Department

ALDWICKBURY’S UNDER 14 TEAM ARE THE SATIPSKI’S 2010 CHAMPIONS

On Monday the ski teams took part in the first schools’ race to be run on an indoor snow slope as opposed to a dry ski slope. The day was a great success and it was very gratifying to maintain our strong level of performance. Satipski is the unofficial Prep Schools’ National Championship.

First Match of the Season

Who could have asked for better conditions for the first cricket match of the season for the boys at Aldwickbury School? The 1st XI and Colts A played their way into the season against Lochinver House. Hitting the Right Notes

All candidates in the examinations held in March achieved at least a pass mark, with 16 gaining Merit or Distinction. Since September, 55 boys have passed Grade examinations, and a further 11 have taken their Preparatory tests.
