Aldwickbury School Boys' Council

The Boys' Council met for the first time on Tuesday. The Council consists of elected members from Years 5 to 8 and will be meeting to discuss issues relevant to the boys. It is very much a boy-led organisation with agenda items for subsequent meetings coming from their suggestions. During this first meeting, the Council ratified and signed the Charter (itself, in part, created by Year 8 boys) which sets out how the Council will go about its business.

It will be very exciting to watch this group of boys working together over the course of this year and hopefully they will enjoy making a difference to the running of the school whilst also picking up some vital transferable skills.
