Aldwickbury School Bazaar
Sunday 14th November 2010
The weather must have realised it wasn’t worth trying to disrupt the Aldwickbury School Bazaar having proved last year that we will not be defeated by the elements in our aim to bring the school community together to have fun whilst raising money for the school and worthy charitable causes. Saturday morning saw children, parents and staff come together to provide wonderful entertainment and ingenious ways to part everyone from their money! From delicious cakes, a chance to replenish recently emptied toy cupboards t o tremendous games from the Year 8 boys there was something for all ages. This year had a medieval theme so the opportunity to try archery and joust seemed appropriate. There were a number of mini knights in shining armour as well as a Knight with his horse ready for battle! This year the boys choose to support Keech Cottage Hospice and we will look forward to them visiting the school later in the year.
Many thanks to all those involved in this successful morning.
