Y8 Geography Trip to Flatford Mill

The Year 8’s went away for the annual visit to Flatford Mill to help them complete their river study project as part of their geography Common Entrance exam. Monday and Tuesday night saw a large number of Year 6 boys climbing the stairs to discover the delights of boarding at Aldwickbury. What makes it such a good experience for our boys? French Trip - Thursday update
Thursday 30th September 2010The French trip continues to go well - including several trips and outings. The boys seem to be speaking a lot of French, and Mr Marshall commented that their diaries are outstanding!

Wednesday 29th September 2010Mr Marshall called school on Tuesday to say that everyone has been having a fantastic time on the trip. In the morning the boys have been to a market and completed a town trail (in French!)
The afternoon was sheduled for making crepes and then going on the zip wire and trapeze, abseilling and swimming.

Skiing Success Congratulations to the Ski Teams which competed in the qualifying round of the English Schools’ Championships last Sunday. Both the Under 14 and the Under 12 A teams won their category and qualified for the National Finals which will take place on Saturday 9 October.
Boarders' Golf Open

Congratulations to all those boys who competed in the first Boarders' Golf Open on Thursday evening.

A Buzz in the Pre-Prep
Friday 17th September 2010Anyone popping into the Pre-Prep this week will have noticed what a positive buzz of activity
there is! As a bee keeper it reminds me of my hives. When the bees are busy collecting
nectar there is always a very peaceful buzzing of activity at the bottom of my garden. Here
