Aldwickbury School

From the Headmaster

The boys have returned from their Half-Term break full of energy and enthusiasm.  This week has flown by and I know that there has been lots of activity in the classroom.  Away from their academic studies, the cultural side of the school is in full flow with productions later in the term from five year groups.  The string players had a workshop with David Beaman who plays the violin for the BBC Concert Orchestra; it is always good to learn from the professionals!  The sportsmen have been busy with seventeen teams representing the School this week, and no losses!  The swimmers also had an exciting gala at the beginning of the week.

I know that we will continue to ensure that the boys have plenty to do in the coming weeks. The focus next week will be the Bazaar, I know that many of you are working hard to ensure that Saturday 14 November will be another special Aldwickbury event.  The boys in Year 8 are certainly looking forward to running their stalls, always a highlight at the Aldwickbury Bazaar!
