We were pleased to be included in the top ten prep schools for value for money in the Telegraph earlier this week. Some of you may have seen this in the paper or via the Aldwickbury Twitter feed.  Whilst being pleased with this accolade, it is worth noting that the text they wrote was not entirely accurate, but at least it was a lovely photo of the School!

Our annual Jeans for Genes Day proved to be great fun with the boys wearing their jeans and Section colours.  The Years 3-8 assembly led by two boys was an excellent reminder of the cause that we are raising money for.  The story of two boys with genetic disorders and how they coped was inspiring and an excellent lesson for us all.  Thank you too to the parents who provided the lovely cakes for the Cake Stall.

We are looking forward to welcoming the Revd Jane Markby, the Chaplain at Berkhamsted as the preacher for our Harvest Festival Chapel Service next week.  We would like to continue to support Open Door in St Albans who provide care for the homeless in the city.  However they are no longer able to receive food donations so we will be giving them the proceeds of the collection taken at the end of the service. If you are unable to attend the service but would like to make a donation then please send a clearly marked envelope in with you son.
