After supper, staff organise activities. This is on top of the range of other clubs such as drama, skiing and cricket that are already available.
There are also opportunities to play games and be with friends in the grounds or in the main building.
Cooking has become a popular choice of activity, with the Headmaster as chief taster! When it is light, boys play outside in order to make the most of outdoor facilities with the weather hopefully allowing a few barbecue suppers.
There are some special highlights during the year such as the boarders’ Christmas dinner, when the boys host the staff at a candlelit meal.
The Christmas Review can be relied upon to reveal extraordinary talents from both boys and staff, whilst the Easter Quiz tests some beyond expectations and is a great time for dormitories to pool all their combined skills and knowledge.
But best of all are the times spent chatting, watching football matches and generally enjoying the company of friends.
