Physical Education is an important part of the curriculum for boys at Aldwickbury and there are ample opportunities to cover a wide range of activities, including gymnastics, basketball, short tennis, ball skills and swimming.
The boys spend a large part of their week involved in sport, so it is vital that it is an enjoyable experience for every boy regardless of sporting ability.
We certainly believe in ‘sport for all’, but we also acknowledge and actively pursue ‘excellence in sport’.
We believe that a healthy body leads to greater enthusiasm and motivation on the academic front and all pupils are encouraged to learn and develop physical skills to the highest possible standard.
