We see the enjoyment of maths, the fulfilment of a boy's potential, and the need for him to have a responsible work ethic and take pride in his work, as being of paramount importance.
We want him to gain confidence in his own abilities and enable him to use the subject as a tool.
To this end it is important to engender a positive feeling in each pupil about mathematics. We acknowledge that all boys learn in different ways, so we use a variety of approaches, including: traditional, ICT, interactive whiteboards and practical lessons.
