It is the aim of Aldwickbury's History Department to stimulate and sustain boys’ interest in historical themes and to foster a spirit of enquiry.
We aim to promote an understanding of the past, its events and the characters involved in order to encourage a consideration of how the past influences the present and the lessons to be learnt.
Pupils will develop lifelong skills of research, analysis and independent study. It is the principal aim of the History Department to encourage an interest in the past and to do so in as enjoyable a manner as possible!
